Ahh...pfft....it looks like crap you should give it to me!

Just kidding. That must be one of the cleanest 123's I've seen! I thought the tires looked too small in the first picture, but I realized it's just becuase I can see the paint in the wheel wells. It's not all dirty and grimmy in there, like they usually are.

Actually I think allot of 240's came with 185/70R14's, and maybe even 175/70R14's.
I think China has the 185's. The look kinda small but it drives great with them and she gets the best fuel mileage......

The factory tire was a special 175r14 which is actually a 175/85 roughly. It was built on a heavy duty carcass. (no longer available, and the 175r14 is probably very hard to find too)... a 240 really drives the sweetest with this size tire and the later aluminum wheels with wheel covers.

Wow, very sharp. I have been detailing mine for about the past year. It looks good, but your has me beat. Mine an '81 manual trans. I would like a picture of the vacuum lines from the fire wall to the check valve. I can't find a vaccum diagram for this year.
Thanks,
Tom

Check out their $45,000.00 container of car wax. http://www.zymol.com/zymolsolaris.aspx Is this crazy or what?
Thanks Benzster. I think I'll give it a try. Although, maybe I'll stay away from a wax that's more expensive than the original purchase price of my car...
haha.

The car was originally fitted with Continental 175 SR 14 tires with a raised sidewall. I believe the original intent of the raised sidewalls was to protect the tire structure if it was stuck againist a curb. The 175 SR 14 tire size is not readily available these days. Might be available with a speciality classic/old car tire manufacturer, I haven't personally checked into it. My car is now fitted with Michelin Harmony 185/70 R14 tires, these are a slightly smaller tire in height and the speedometer indicates 5 mph faster than actual speed.

75 Sv1,

My car is an automatic, be happy to get a pic of the vac lines, but do you think that your manual shift might car be a different set-up than mine?

The only thing your car needs is H4 conversions, since you still have the sealed beams. Otherwise, that's how a W123 should be. Even the wheel wells are clean!

Oh and check one of the vacuum lines leading to your inline vacuum filter, I think it's kinked

Saw the posting earlier of your headlight conversion, it looks nice on your car, very nice looking W123 by the way, but for me the look seems odd with the non-Euro bumper assy.
