Bought #8, W/a Bonus Car

Went to the auction today, to get the 85 300D. Not too bad from afar, and upon closer inspection, CA car!!! So, I picked that up cheap, and still had extra cash laying around, so I bought the 85 Volvo turbodiesel wagon. Now I have to get them home. Time to update sig.

Nice score. How much were they? I actually aquired my '78 300 from a towing auction for $500.

The Mercedes will not start, but has fuel to the injectors. I also don't have a key yet, so no glow might be an issue. Definitely needs the lift pump replaced. The hood flew up while towing, so the hood is slightly dented, and windshield is bashed in pretty good. Now that I have all of the lottery tickets, bingo stampers, and Colt 45 cans out of it, it doesn't look too bad. needs an injector too, there is JB weld all over one. The volvo will not start either, mainly because the injection pump will not pull fuel. Time to pull that off and see about getting it rebuilt. The fun begins.

Looks like you have some cleaning to do. It looks like a good car though.

not sure if it's had the recall work done.. Guess I can take the vin to a dealer and they can look it up? It's got 283k miles, so maybe it's been done?

Oh, and thanks William..

Its dirty but the wood looks like its in pretty good shape. It should clean up fairly well.

Nice score! I want to see that car after it's had the full ImBroke treatment. Odds are we'll hardly recognize it
