Combination Switch

Looking to change my bad combination switch on my '86 W201. Found this link for what looks to be a W123 or W124:

will this work for my car? sorry for the cross-post, but not finding much in other forums -

TIA

Those pictures are for a 123. Until someone with a 201 comes along I'll guess it's more like a 124 which means the steering wheel has to come off.

Yep, a kind soul emailed me and let me know. For what its worth, there are a couple of pictorials, one in the DIY section - shows most of the steps up to which pretty much covers the way to the combination switch, and the other in another forum, shows Steering Wheel Removal in great detail.
However, nowhere have I learned a way to feel confident that I won't blow my fool head off with an accidentally activated airbag.

dang I was hoping this was the way for my car, I found this a few weeks ago and was thinking how much nicer it would be not having to take the wheel off.....
