I knew that art degree would come in handy one day!
What did ya'll do to keep from getting it on the black part of the needle?

I don't think Tyler like euro lights anyway, look at his fleet, all US spec lights and bumpers. Now I wouldn't mind having a set of 3 piece euro bumpers.
Do they have the vacuum pods in them?

Tape them off and carefully brush the paint on. If your looking for a smoother finish, then you'll have to gingerly remove the needles and research spray paint that closely matches.

If you pull them, would you be selling them? How much?

I'm looking at a possible 240D purchase in the near future (going to look at one tomorrow) and would want euro lights ... I guess buying headlights first would be counting my chickens before they hatch, but oh well.

The SL has 3 piece euro bumpers.

I really do like both styles of headlights. I don't thin MBeige should change a thing.

Buy the parts first, then buy a car to install them on. That's what I keep telling my friends

Did you mean change a thing with my car?

There is a reason why I did not change the headlights on my W123 for four years since I've owned it, I liked it just the way it was, but I just had to get H4 conversions after one year with those sealed beams. So when the opportunity came to get the 15" Bundts I thought I'd play with it a little, and it's gotten addicting...

But I do agree that the US DOT lights have this continuity that emerges when the grille fins match the headlight door "fins". However, the advent of those vacuum adjusters just make the Euro headlights I currently have, well worth it.

Mercy, your car would look so nice with the 3 piece chrome wrap around bumpers and those Euro lights. Perhaps maybe even headlight wipers to complete the look
