I know the 1995 E300D you're looking at. It is in Kalamazoo, MI. Silver with Blue MB-Tex. I test drove the car back in late September. Even had the pre-purchase inspection done by the Kalamazoo MB dealer. Mechanically the car was in very good shape. There were a few issues with the body; several places where rust was beginning to bubble...antenna mast, front fender, door, and several dings in the door (from parking in a lot).

I made an offer but couldn't get the owner to move much on the price. My concern was the rust. I couldn't pay the kind of money he was asking for a car that is beginning to rust. And he wouldn't budge much on the price.

So I kept looking around and found another 1995 E300D in Chicago. It was at a Mercedes-Benz dealer; they said it was traded-in for a new E-Class diesel. It's "Emerald Green" over creme (or "Mushroom") leather. It had 101K miles on it. One owner. Interior and Exterior were in almost excellent shape. Asking price was a little less than the Kalamazoo owner, and they negotiated abit with me on the final price.
