How I stopped my air cleaner from shaking..

I had an extra bump stop from installing some new exhaust, what do you think? or has it already been done?

That fix has been around for years and it works, but it's good to re-introduce it for lots of folks that have never seen it.

That is great! I did the same thing but used one of the broken air cleaner mounts for the rubber bit.

"Flame Suit On"

1.Why not properly replace the three rubber air filter housing mounts?
2.Excessive AF mount replacement is symptomatic of "Too Much Shaking"...:
Bad Motor Mounts.
Rack Damper Pin.
Valve adjustment Need.
Occluded Injectors.
Improper Injection Pump Adjustment.
Fuel Filter Occlusion.

Gotta wonder if the extra vibrations transmitted through to the valve cover will hurt it....

"flame suit on".... good thing I'm a Fireman

everything is good... and its got the three new feet on it ... everything else has been adjusted or inspected..

I just had it extra and put it there to take out the last of the shimmy it had.. very good list though, thanks for throwing it up there.

I had replaced the entire air cleaner mount, on the SD, including the rubber mounts. Still shook too much.
Instead of increasing the idle, I wedged in a square muffler hanger in the same spot, works.
