Leaking radiator.
I changed the radiator on my car due to a leaking trans cooler causing the trans fluid to be full of water.
The used radiator that I put in leaves a nice spot under the car, and I can not find where it is coming from. Is it worth trying stop leak? Or what other options? I do not have $200+ for a new radiator. Thanks Doug

How big is the spot?
Stop leak tends to plug up everything, including the heatercore and mono valve. You could get another used one, but this time have it pressure tested.

the spot is about 6inches. Also noticed that the that I can squeeze the top hose when hot, meaning very little pressure, and when cold I do not hear coolant in the hose. So the coolant in the tank in not filling the radiator back up.

I would say, get a new one. If you can afford a diesel benz, you can afford a 200$ part.

Are you sure the radiator is leaking? Have you checked the water pump or the possibility of a loose hose connection or cracked hose?

I had a small leak like that – turned out to be the little "jumper" hose between the water pump and the thermostat (I'm not awake yet and probably not making sense, hope you know what hose I mean). Anyway, my mechanic changed the hose and the leak stopped.

Checked the hoses, They are dry, also changed the drain plug.
Rad. is wet along the bottom, and only after it cools some. If I check it when hot, I can not find anything.
