Needing to remove the IP on my 96 E300D. I've remove the (3) square nuts and (1) short 13mm bolt and all fuel lines. Pump moves slightly toward firewall, but has some resistance. What cautions and or additional steps need to be performed to remove?

Have you followed your other post from an hour ago?

I seriously doubt your IP is the issue; its certainly not the first item you should be testing.
