Euro Headlight???
|
Yes I'd buy them, you need plugs too.I want the darker Euro turn signal lens for that year.I've heard the clear ones don't last.
|
Is there a link on how to rewire the euro light???
|
All you have to do is take the USA plug apart and put the pins into a euro plug housing. It's so easy, nothing has to be cut or soldered.
The lighting is night and day better. If you do any night or dusk driving at all the euro lights are a significant upgrade, even cheap Depot brand lights like the ones you linked. There are other auctions on eBay for Bosch units, if possible I would try to go for OEM. They will be slightly higher quality. See here for a how to: http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W126EuroLights FWIW the headlight wipers on your later car won't work well with the euro lights. I'm going to try and "make" the us spec motors work with them, using different wiper arms, I'll post my results when I get the mod complete. -Jason |
I cant afford the OEM, but i think it looks nice and now you mention better lighting, I am getting it...

If you have a choice between TYC and Depo, pay a little more for Depo. Much better made.
Use 6-pin connector housings for the tail lights of just about any 80s MB. Sixto 87 300D |

Says on the lens where OE Euros say Bosch or Hella.

Also in the middle it should say H4 for Hella and/or Bosch units. Aftermarket ones don't.

I've contacted that seller in my search for Euros. Those lights are Depos
|
Great, So where can i get the Euro connector do they sell it here???
|
The so called Euro connectors are the same connectors used in your tail lights. Grab some from the pick-n-pull from just about any 80s MB.
