What do you mean by Injectro Advancing? I never heard that before.

Anyway you advance or retard the injection timing by moving the injection pump.
You loosen the bolts and swivel it either towards or away from the engine.

1: Blowing out the headgasket, hard starting and loud combustion (nailing) if you try to advance too far.
2: Lots of them, if you search.

Best to check the injector advance and get it right on the marks. Be sure to check the timing chain stretch while you are at it. Those two will affect the fuel mileage and power a lot.

I would not recommend advancing or retarding anything without using at least the drip method to time the injectors. There are a few write ups here (do a search) or stop in your local parts store and find a repair manual. Most of them are not the best, but I have found them usefull for repairs such as this.
The drip method is easier than you might think, but I could not recite how to do it from memory. When I did it I had an old core engine or two around and I cut an injector line to use as the drip line. If you cannot find one they can be purchased from Fastlane or most on line parts shops.

I went with 24. Why on earth they say 23- 25 is beyond me. I called a local MB tech, he said to use 24.
After I installed a new timing chain I followed up with the injector timing. As I recall it was sitting at 22. Bumping it up 2 degrees made it run a lot smoother and with better power. That has been about 80k miles ago, I should check it again.
