Cool, I've always wanted to go there. After the last "election" I might just do it...

Ahh it's all talk. I know a lot of people that said that when GW was re-elected, but they never moved.

Bens Lover, maybe you'll find a sweet right hand drive diesel MB over there. Have fun!

May not be as cold as Canada. I was in Sidney and Brisbane in the end of June and first part of July 1964, when I was in the U.S. navy.
Didn`t seem all that cold as I remember it, and that is winter time there. did have the fine ladies to keep me warm .

have a picture of the ship in Sidney harbor with the arched bridge in the back ground. they were just building the opera house then.

Well it`s good you can get back home, but that is a loooong flight there..

always enjoyed your posts.

Oh I will continue to post here...And I will continue to stay in touch with all the good people on this web site.Yes its a long flight back but its all worth it.The small town where we will be living mostly farm land is only 30 some odd kilometers away from the coast, near Surfers Paradise.
No more winter snow to deal with mind you here on the west coast of Canada we never really had much to start with.Down under in the winter season all we have is a morning frost and then by 10.00am its already +25c,it will be great for the old arthritis.
My own web site will be kept up to date regularly too.
Thanks guy's for all the kind thoughts.
Regards
Dan

Good call! I love small town/rural life. That is why I live in a rural area as well. Your MB's should be happy in a warmer climate, as well as your arthritis!

Good luck!
