May not be as cold as Canada. I was in Sidney and Brisbane in the end of June and first part of July 1964, when I was in the U.S. navy.
Didn`t seem all that cold as I remember it, and that is winter time there. did have the fine ladies to keep me warm . have a picture of the ship in Sidney harbor with the arched bridge in the back ground. they were just building the opera house then. Well it`s good you can get back home, but that is a loooong flight there.. always enjoyed your posts. Charlie

Good call! I love small town/rural life. That is why I live in a rural area as well. Your MB's should be happy in a warmer climate, as well as your arthritis!
