|
any pics of an 1987-1996 wagon hitch?
got a 1987 wagon i need a hitch for. would like to see any pics of one already mounted, pics under the bumper to see what it looks like and how it's mounted. i will probably try to build my own and want some ideas.

I built one from a Jeep Wrangler hitch and it really did not take that much modification. It takes a pretty wide hitch and the Jeep one was perfect. Will post a pic when I can get it up on the rack. It tucks up under the bumper and all you see is the 1 1/4" receiver.

This should show the hitch,,, our racks were tied up, but the right side is tied into the tow hook, and the left side is bolted right to the unibody structure.

thanks for the pics. been gone a week. anyway, kinda hard to tell from the first pic but looks like just bolted to tow/tie-down point but does not look too solid. can't tell the other side. wish you had some pics of the hitch before installation.
