Diesel Injector return lines, where to buy?

I did a quick search but didn't find anything useful. Drivewire claims they have some, but when I ordered them they never shipped em...

Anyway, anywhere else I should look?

Fastlane or Partsexpress for starters........

If you use biodiesel (or are thinking about it) then you should have viton return lines. The factory return hose with the braided cover will last about a year, sometimes less. One source for 1/8 inch I.D. viton is Fryerpower here.

The older VW Rabbit Diesels used the same hose but of coure the have their own part number.
If you need something to stop the leaking right now regular 3/16 Vacuum hose will last a few weeks but could save you money on fuel if you are leaking right now.
Silicone Vacuum hose (the brightly colored hose) will last at least a year but gets rock hard and is sold in the Autoparts Chain Stores.

Post #2 has the part numbers.

I bought my return line from Ebay sellers when the price was right as I have 2 vehicles that use the same size hose and it is useful on some gasser applications to.

All VW diesels till 2004 use this same line. I bought a bunch on my last order from ********, it's cheap enough to have on hand.

I had viton lines on my ECOdiesel and wasn't impressed. The viton got really hard after a couple months. I use bio during the summer in my TDI and have never, ever had problems with the OEM lines leaking. Over 220,000 miles the lines have needed replaced twice, and I've used OEM both times.

The lines on my SDL only have 50k on them and are still fine. When they get tired they will be replaced with the OEM lines.

Mercedes dealers usually have it in stock...its like $14 for 1 meter of it IIRC.

Were they the lines I sell? I've had mine on for over 2 years now and they feel the same as the new line I sell. I'm not trying to defend my stuff. If it was my stuff, I want to know about it so I can try to figure out what happened!

Try NAPA

I bought 1/8" (3.2mm) inside diameter fuel hose from NAPA. Cost four dollars and change for three feet. The walls are a little thicker than the OE hose making a bit of a tight fit between the nipple and injector body but it works just fine, is dirt cheap, easily available, and the description on the NAPA website says it is suitable for diesel return lines. http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=NBH&PartNumber=H174&Description=Fuel+Line+%2f+PCV+%2f+EEC+Hose
