Rough Idle, 1` cylinder possibly not firing on a 95 e300d

Hi,

First off, thanks to all for all your help in the previous posts. I have done much reading and learning on this forum. I just wish I had found it before I did the IP oring change, then I probably wouldnt have the issues Im having now. Anyhow, When I did the IP oring change, I pulled out the valve that the copper crush valve sits on, I think it was in #4, and when I put it back in place, I noticed it was sitting a little higher than the rest. Anyhow, since then the car has not been running too well, very rough idle, low power, hesitates, etc. I re-did the oring seating again, on all the valves, and all the crush washers were on the same level. After I re-did this, the car ran, a bit better, but still rough idle, etc. Tonight I did the diesel purge for 20 minutes, and it made a tremendous difference, the car is alot more responsiv, seems to have more power, and idles alot better. But I still hear that #4 cylinder pinging when idling. So I am wondering, if I should try to swap the injectors on #3 and 4 cylinders, and see if that changes anything?

Also, thanks to this site, I saved myself over $100 by re-building my manual shut off valve. All it took as a small o'ring, and now its leak free.

Thanks,
Dariusz
