W126 body swap/strip party soon

My 1985 300SD is dying of rust.
Just got a Texas W126 1991 350SD no interior or drive-train.

Moving the OM617 drive-train and interior should be easy.
I may need to swap the total vehicle wire harness = not fun..

I will post the spare parts after the swap.

Let me know when you're doing this, I'd love to come help.

Too bad you didn't get the updated interior with the 350. Does the 350 shell have ASD?

I had to NOT post my thoughts. I'd still like to be involved when a car was being stripped. The day I took the entire blue interior out of a 1985 300D was interesting......but nothing like the "strip parties" they have up north.

At the risk of sounding creepy...where do you work on your cars, if you don't mind me asking? After learning that you are a MB guru, I'd love to soak up some knowledge in person...

Are you going to sell parts after the swap is complete?

I could use some things, probably off the 85.

Message me.

Strangely enough, as explained at the Texas GTG these engines also suffer from another "all too common" malady. There is some type of baffle in the lower oil pan area. The screws back out of this, eventually get ingested into the oil pump after tearing though the screen, hand grenade it which causes lack of engine oil and you get seizure.
I think Sunny got the interior from this car, which was nice!
Good looking body for Roy to transplant his stuff to with minimal issues.
Gonna have to deal with extending the drive shaft a bit?

I'm very disapointed, I was looking for pictures of very hot girls stripping on a W126.
