Got 3/4s of my list done.

Need to get a good polish done, and get the windows tinted.

I need to find someone good to get it done.

All of the people I have talked to recommend against using the local joints, as they have had bad experiences.

Yep, my family is basically forcing me to sell it. They all hate it, and think I can do way better...hence my new 560SEL. The main reason for the hatred tho, is because the mileage is horribly inaccurate, the guy selling it lied through his teeth. Odometer shows 113k miles, but the car fax is showing over 200k. I guess that would explain why things keep breaking...

If he brought the E320 estate he could have stowed a 190E in there without anybody noticing

Carfax is to be used BEFORE you buy a car.......
I'm sorry that your experience with the SEC has been so bad.
I must have lucked out with my two. But I DID use Carfax before I bought the cars. And the Euro 1984 500 SEC came with an almost complete, (complete in the US), set of Records to day one in CA. Feb 17, 1988(smogged).
No records with the 560SEC, but a clean Carfax as well. My 560 SEC get great mileage, alas, not so good, the Euro.

Justin we need to detail. Unfortunately I'm busy this weekend with family and you have school during the week.

I got to wax the 300D and shampoo the carpet. I also need a return fuel line hose

There is a place in lodi that mainly does sports cars that my friend (former benz dealer service rep) uses that i think will charge just 100 bux to do it.

Now that christmas tree hauling duty is done...

I guess it's time to detail the wagon, especially after reading the last few posts. I might get a polish and wax done, maybe...we'll see about the weather and everything else. The leather needs to be shampoo'd and that pesky air filter housing/oil return pipe is leaking oil again...oh well.

Undercarriage cleaning is not so bad, just spray degreaser from the bottom whatever you can spray with the "stream" nozzle function to get as far as possible, let it sit a little and spray generously. Then give it a good blast of water. Since I use the car wash, the pressure also helps remove dirt and grease off.

I think these meets are a healthy way of keeping our cars clean
