Tyler, awesome pics. I don't know if you recognized my tire tracks in the first image you have, I also took pics at that same spot. Really nice spot to shoot a subject and the scenery!

Here's mine at that same spot, and I'm working on the other images as we speak.

Some teasers as well:

VWNATE,
I drove 50-55 MPH all the way up the 57 to the 210 to the 2. Buzz and Eric got in behind me on the 210, while the rest of the bunch had a glitch at the 91(just beside Buzz), then stopped to regroup before the 2. The three of us you passed on the 2 had been there for ten or more minutes when you tootled by. You can say what you want about your route, but my way was faster even doing 55. My gps confirmed my mph by +1 mph at my posted speeds. We would have all been there waitng on you had not the 91 and regroup happened. There was lite traffic all moving faster than we were so there wasn't any stop and go. May be a bit farther in miles but a lot less in nerves and traffic.

That said, we all got there with only one breakdown(out of fuel), and had a good time.

Derek, your car is simply awesome. I just have to say, enjoy it a little bit more. I have a feeling you know what you've got, and don't want to touch it, just put it up on display to look at.

The tint preserved the interior! I haven't had the chance to take a look inside that much.

I sometimes look at this image and wonder what our cars are saying to each other:

Nice pictures guys!!
I'm sorry I couldn't make it... I have a very good excuse though:
Saturday I bought my first real keeper! A 3 owner 300CDT in VERY nice condition. 212k miles, very clean inside and out. $3500!!!
What a cool as ride.

Then again, I'm about to get me my 2nd keeper tomorrow...

And my car is jealous of your immaculate interior! You can get all the rare goodies you can for the money but one can never buy originality.

I remember when I approached you and told you I'll trade your car for my car.

Then I said, "This car"

man, this looks like it was a great time. I was hoping to do it, but my car was basically un-drivable. Garrett called me and said he secured a spring compressor (to whoever loaned it, you are awesome!), so I should be up and rolling again soon.

I see 2 members of the w123 rear headrest club?

Pat, your car looks better than ever. I'm digging the blacked out euros, bundts and all. Aggressive but slightly muted. I think its just right. I'm hoping to get my bundts done in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Awesome pictures as well!

Four actually. P4olom's 240D, mine, Nate's (Vwnate1) 240D and Gary's (MBZ300CD on BW) 300CD.

Thanks Zack, it's come a long way but it's there.
