Another one bites the dust

When will people realize that they are cutting the resale value in half when they do the SVO conversion? How much do you think this guy will get?

If the german engineers wanted us to burn the shtuff, they would have recommended it in the owners manual .

Dunno', but he must've got pretty close to what he wanted for it - and pretty quickly too - since the posting has already been deleted!

So much for cutting resale value...

Newcomers would still pay a premium if they felt and are told they burnt free fuel. They never considered or studied the total possible reality.

I am not against people using alternative fuels after all it is their car. I just preffer not to do it myself.

You are smart not to.It is somewhat labor intensive all that filtering and dewatering, Storage concerns are to be considered. cold weather concerns as
well. after the cost of the kit (frybrid) I figure you need to drive 12k just to get a return on your investment,Now with diesel prices flirting at 3 bucks a gallon
that milage will be closer to 20k before the rig is paid for.
So in my case it would be almost a year before i see a return on my investment. Then and only then could i say i would be driving for free .
or close to it.
