W124 motor on a 190D - Need help

.

I need to change the old 190d (w201) with a second hand w201 motor. I tried playing with the schematics and ended up blowing the fuse. Would appreciate it if somebody can help. The wires on the 190D are black, brown, white, yellow, green but on the motor the unit is fixed and only two colors can be moved. red and green. I am attaching a picture of the motor.

What is that thing for???

I wish I could offer some help. I am looking for input on replacing a starter on a 1986 190D. Any insight is appreciated.

Red face Thanks.

Well i meant wiper. Was really frustrated and tired. Been working on the junk 190D for almost 2 years now, trying to restore. With the money spent to buy the junk and rebuilding i could have bought a brand new later model.Where i live parts are so expensive and scarce and to get parts off ebay or otherwise takes a long time and in the end works out to be just as expensive with duties and postage expenses. Serious. Anyway hopefully i am in the last part of it. Was worth the effort as i have learned a lot and never touched a car(mechanically i mean) before, but not worth the money. He He. Driving a 190D was a childhood dream which i fulfilled 20 years late. Not yet anyway, but hopefully soon. Regarding the wiper; the W124 wiper motor i managed to get would not fit in the 190D as it seems in the W124, the wiper is fixed from the right side and in W201 on the left and there is no space to twist or turn it to fit it in. I managed to figure it out, though. Opened them both found out how it works, and took the internals of the 124 motor and placed them in the 190 motor case and after yet another day of hard labor, dirty hands and clothes, made it work.
