Brake warning light on dash now "blinking"

I changed my speedo cable yesterday with great results. But last night on my way to the store, which was the first time I'd driven in the dark, I noticed my brake warning light (the circle that comes on at start up), seemed to stay on until I got moving, then it would blink, increasing in blinking speed as the travel speed increased. I realize that I jacked the drivers side up to get to the cable, but I've done that a dozen times or more in the last 2 years. I also popped out the dash (gently), which I've never done before. Oh, and it was raining last night. Any ideas on what might be causing it??

MY SD is doing that.I should have change sensors, one has a frayed wire that sometimes hits metal. When it stops raining a little silicone goop will stop it.

Thanks, oldsinner. Come to think of it, after doing a post a few weeks ago about squeaky brakes, I took off the wheel and checked it and one of the sensors was looking kind of bad. I will do that. I was afraid I'd bumped something when I took the dash out, even though I made sure to be very gentle and not pull it out any farther than needed. Maybe I didn't get it all the way back on when I checked the sensor.
