But what's with the pinstripe? Never seen one like that before. Also, what's up with the wood strip across the dash but black plastic on the center console? Never seen that either.

Pinstripe is either an Auto Zone special, or something installed by aftermarket shop, or maybe a dealer at best.....It needs to go, if a true purist cares just that much..

I bought the exact same one from Pep-Boys for my S-10, in about 1993'ish, for like $8.00, or something like that.
