Where can I find a new shaft? My 1991 350SD passenger seat back is tilted forward and backward by a single motor located on the right side of the passenger seat back. A shaft transfers power from the right side to the left side of the seat so that both sides of the seat tilt forward and backward. This shaft (tube with tapered ends) is broken right at the gear on the right side of the seat so that only the right side tilting mechanism moves. Makes for a pretty funny looking twisted seat. Are there any good sources for this part? Also, does anyone know the easiest way to install the new shaft?
