w124 200D Bad cold start
W124 200D OM601
This only happens whith a cold engine, I crank it, it starts fine but for the first minute it kinda missfires and white smoke comes out the exhaust! If I accelerate some two times in idle, it normalizes and the smoke stops after 10 seconds! All the glow plugs read 0.5 Ohm! I think it can be a problem with the first injector because sometimes it knocks when cold, what do you guys think? Can I just swap injectors around to see if the problem gets better? Is there some o-ring I must substitute while swapping injectors?

You will need to install new heat shields if you remove the injectors.

Might be a heavy layer of soot insulating the glow plugs. Pull the glow plugs and ream the holes.
