Vacuum diagram for 1991 350SD

Does anyone know where to find the vacuum diagrams for a 1991 350SD? I have looked without success. Any help greatly appreciated. (I posted this earlier in the thread on W123 and W126 but got no response so must have been the wrong place to post.)

Actually you did get a response. Patience!

The official FSM on CD covers that year and has descriptions and diagrams of individial vacuum systems but not everything on one page. Price is very minor (US$20 - 30 range). The scan quality is mediocre but it will give you much of the information you will need in the future.

Search the archives on vacuum and transmission issues. There is a transmission shop with a web page full of vacuum diagrams.

Look on ebay, AutohauzAZ, Benzbin or Performance Products for the Model 126 Service Manual CD. Buy it. Put it into your computer. You will find the vacuum as well as all other diagrams. I have a 1991 350SD also & find this very usefull. The door vacuum units are available from the above sources for abot $35 delivered. Just so you know...the vacuum pump driven by the fan belt has plastic tubing that gets brittle & breaks & dries up. I replaced all of those tubes when my doors were having a problem. All works good now. I bought a 6' piece of tubing & cut it to the lenghts required under the hood. Tubing inside of the car was in good shape. To find these vacuum tubes...follow the larger tube that goes to your master brake cylinder, back to the vacuum pump. You will then see where the smaller tubes break out to a rubber tee splice.
