See power is nice, now drive a fast car. 300E's only has 170ish hp?

A C63 should do ya right. Something with well north of 400hp...

Z06, 360 Modena, SLR McLaren, 996 Turbo, F355, M3, M6, CLK500, CL55, SL600.

I've driven all of those, and am suprised by this inline 6 by Mercedes. The extra 2 valves makes quite a difference, but the M103 is no slouch.

*edit* I keep adding to list,I've forgotten some.

Its got about 177hp.....plenty!! It sure puts it on the road more effectively than most vehicles! I've driven 200+ hp chevy's......and they're slooow.......it just puts that power down so well, its crazy!

I don't know if I need much more than a M103....or I'll end up in prison!

On a track though....I'd like to try some fast cars..... a 63 AMG....that'd be a blast.

I am bummed at how lame w126 drivers are. I see them daily on the freeways and they NEVER want to play! Im never afraid either since most 603's I encounter probably have clogged filters, maladjusted aldas, screwed up shift points, old injectors (etc). Im pretty confident I have the fastest 80s Mercedes diesel in town

Ive considered picking up a mb gasser but gasoline engines are just horrible! Too many problems, too many cylinders, poor fuel mileage, less longevity, high engine maintenance compared to a diesel and the exhaust smells like bleach. Personaly, I just hate the "delicate" feeling gassers have.

My dream is to drop a OM606 into my SD. Add a aftermarket turbo and Ill be painting E320's flat black

LOL, racing in an SDL.

TurboBenz, wanna race the SL?

If any of you are in Sacramento, and would like a race, give me a jingle. I got nothing better to do, and some quick cars at my disposal.

I havn't had that much fun in awhile, usualy other W126's don't like to play.
Last year doing the New Haven I95/Home shuffle, as usual trying to top my best time, I came up on another CD. He must have been watching the headlights approach, as we were soon tooling along approaching the three digits. Only time I've had another 300 series come play...
