I live in a "townhouse condo" neighborhood about 15 minutes away from Georgia Tech, where I go to school. I was expecting to buy a "two-steps from the grave" car for $500 but I am extremely happy with how functional and in what great shape the car is in. I plan on using it as a daily driver driving on free WVO. Next step: reverse band adjustment and patching the passenger seat. Any good sources for upholstery material, carpet ect?

This should round out my German car collection: 1966 VW beetle, 1999 Porsche 911, 1977 Mercedes-Benz 300D
A non turbo tranny should be cheap and easy to come by, I have a couple lying around, they usually go for $150 +-, I wouldnt part out a rust free car.
