What color is the wire that connects to the temp switch on your thermostat housing? Brown & white?

Okay. Do you have any brown/white wires connected to your glow plug timer? Or, better yet, do you have continuity between the temp switch wire and any wire that is connected to the timer?

Okay, if you remove the connector, do you have continuity to ground through the switch when the engine is cold?
