Leaking injector pump
My 1987 Mercedes 190 DT has a small leak on the top of the fuel injector pump, it is not leaking from the bolt where the lines connect though appears to be coming from the area where the 2nd bolt from the front of the car is attached. Does any know if any of the seals inside the pump may be replaced or perhaps a kit for this?

Do a search on delivery valve seals.

I'm investigating the same issue. Coda is going to have her IP pulled for bench work. We have one shop in town and they charge $75 an hour. Takes about an hour to pull.
Free Estimate once they get it on the bench. I'm thinking I'm going to have them replace all the delivery seals and then some. Then they will reinstall and set timing. I can't imagine being able to set the timing correctly on this thing, so I'll let someone else do it.

sounds like delivery valve seals. i did this about a month ago. this requires a special socket, dv seals, and possibly copper crush washers. theres a bunch of threads on this and one very good DIY in the tech section for a 2.5 diesel engine, but the procedure should be the same. 2 of mine were leaking, so i replaced them all. my mpg and acceleration issues were dramatically improved b/c of it

if they were leaking bad, would that cause her to lose prime?

For C Holmes
Please see my reply to your other post about Delivery Valve Seals.
(Symptomology you attribute to your MB is characteristic of leaking DV seals)
