Salvage yard, I would try Euroasian 2829 N. Broadway 316-838-9288 when my tranny went out this the place I bought it from. Nice guy prices seem fair.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Doc! That's exactly the type of places I'm looking for! In the past five years, there has been a couple of times that I needed a part on short notice and talking to parts places on the phone that haven't a clue just adds to the anxiety. Once, I contemplated an overniter on the internet ($$'s) but resorted to RTV and purchasing a couple of gallons of oil. The temporary fix got me home with a mess to clean up on the undercarriage but on a good note, nothing, from the engine back, should have a rust problem now.

YEP. I get 28mpg in Coda driving around town. And if you find the stats on my fast trip to the Texas GTG, I got very good highway mpg, all things considered, of course.

BAHAHAHAHAHA.... Oh here we go with the Great Oz jokes... BAHAHAHA

And if Dorthy is hot, hell yes bring her onboard...

And to the gent that is getting poor fuel mileage, I would do some checking of your engine. I have been keeping record of the fuel mileage from just about the time I got the car. I have a pocket note book that I write down all the mileage and amount of gallons used.

And yes these are great cars... I want a 300CD, I sen a gent driving one here about a month ago and wanted to follow him and look at it, but I was in the wrong lane and he made a left and was gone before I could get turned around.

Doc.

Doc.
And I thought I was the only person who turned around and followed other classic mercedes owners.
