Well, I changed my mind. I'm ordering the Zerostat instead of the Katz. Went to the Napa store and they carry Katz. Went to TSC and they sold the one I was going to get, but said they'd have more in this Friday. Got back on Phillips and Temro sight (zerostart's parent company), and contacted them on where to find suppliers in my area. They wrote me back within an hour and told me of a supplier about 10 minutes from my house. Called them today (Wednesday), told them what I needed and they're having it shipped in by Friday. Gave me the $36 price, but I have to pay the UPS fee. Seems like if they're the supplier, they'd want to bring some to the shop, but I don't care at this point. I just want one. I also found out that the thermostat is an overheating safety. It just trips it if it gets up to 245*. So, by this weekend, I'll have my heater in. Wish I knew how those nifty DIY pages were put together. I'd make one. (Unless there's already one there.)

Here's a thermocube- an automatic thermostatically controlled outlet.
TSC may have them, fleet farm carries them for about $10, on at 35, off at 45* or something. great for the chicken coop. but I think a timer is better- for me, that thing would be on from nov 15 thru march 30. not much point in using that for a block heater in MN.
