Chad - I really like your approach, as I am "electronically-challenged". I was just wondering how I could actually see my displays at night because they are now so dim... Thanks for the tip! Don

Here's a link to the festoon LEDs I used for the front and rear dome lights also:
http://www.ledlight.com/detail.aspx?ID=177 I'm still debating if I want to lay out the cash to use these for brake lights: http://www.ledlight.com/s25-27-ultra-bright-smt-led-light.aspx EDIT: Tip - when using LEDs behind a lens like a turn signal or brake, get the LED the same color as the lens. It will give the best result.

Which one of these would work as a replacement for the tail lights?
http://www.ledlight.com/1156-1157-automotive-led-lights.aspx I've already got my LED 3rd brake light, so it wouldn't be worth it for me to lay out the 50 smackers for LED brake light bulbs, but some LED tail lights would be much better than what I've got now.

This one is cheap and should work, but I'd take off the tail light and make sure it will fit through the hole: http://www.ledlight.com/s25-24-led-light.aspx To aid your search, the stock bulb numbers are as follows: Front turn signal: 7528 rear turn signal: 7506 Tail light: 5008 Brake light: 7506 dome lights: 6411 gauge face illumination: 2821 console, CCU and gauge cluster indicators: 2721 I haven't had to replace the gear shift bulb so I don't know that number yet. license plate light: 6418

Thanks, Chad! Those were the numbers I was looking for...they're probably in my Haynes manual
![]() I just want to make sure the tail lights aren't too bright...they can't out-perform my brakes lights ![]()

on LED
imho, LED's detract from the original intent of the design. But, ill give you a break on using em in the dash-its kinda dark, but with new regular bulbs mine shines great! Using them for brake lights? Methinks that might be crossing a line.
