The video looks more like 10-60, not 0-60. He never stops before starting the run. Notice how the car is still moving when the camera drops down to show zero on the speedometer.

still faster than mine, with 2.47 im in the 17 second range with wristwatch timed run, but I think I can beat him on the big end with the tall gearing

Badly slipping clutch, in the rain on a curved road thats mostly flat but slightly up hill I did 12sec. With a 2.47 I could probably manage to hit 60 in 2nd gear still. I think this is why the om60x cars do so much better on 0-60

First utube link is not listed anymore?

I dont like to shift beyond 4500 rpm, I can get 60 in 3rd but not 2nd, but I wringed mine out to get 17 secs unless my speedo correction factor is wrong. 60 on mine is 43 on the speedo

She seems to move along pretty good, but by today's standards, I don't know that I'd be posting that on Utube. I think my old diesel is good for about 7 seconds on the 0-60 sprint.

That's pretty optimistic unless you have some mods. I think our cars are rated for around 8.5 sec. stock and I've backed that up on the g-tech with 8.5 - 9 sec. runs myself. And that on a little bit tired 154k mile car.

Yeah, Edmunds rates the W210 turbodiesel as a 9 second car. The NA version is about 12 seconds.
