350SDL parts requests ??
There were four, then three '91 350SDLs listed as salvage on ebay. The last auction was this:
I am driving up Sunday to buy at least one, if not two of them. While I'm there, is anyone looking for W126/OM603/722.361 parts and pieces that they want me to inspect? Two of the cars have ASD, those same two cars have passenger airbags. They have all been used in taxi service with 250 - 350K miles on them. The owner told me that a couple have been hydro-locked at one time or another by drivers running them through deep water, and these are 603.970 engines, so I am leery about that aspect, but am hoping to find some good heads that would make an entire car worth the purchase price. I am not looking to buy all three, but can check on parts if someone wants an independent inspection. On the other hand, if enough people want bunches of different parts, and no one wants to step up and buy a car to share the parts with other forum members, I'll play the role of the dismantler on the third car. Per the owner, they have all been running but aren't currently, for various (minor ??) reasons. I'll buy two if I can quickly merge the parts from both and get one on the road while I use the remaining parts to nurse my beloved '90 SDL back to complete and total health. One with a black interior looks pretty decent. The one with the mushroom interior looks pretty ratty. There are supposed to be some good Michelin tires in the mix. Let me know what is on everyone's wish list, and I'll give the stuff a look over, and an honest, brutal review.

almost....
Hey Ken.
I almost bid in the auction. I was really interested in the BLACK interior one........but did not want it ....IF it had the injector cross threaded. Maybe an injector with messed up threads can be fixed by re-tapping. I just didn't want to fool with it. I still need some w126 Palomino front seats.
