Upgrading

2Questions,
Reading Speedys boost gauge install it says to connect the gauge to a T to the line runing out of ? going to ?.
Im in a W126, 300SD 1982
Which line going from where do i need to install a T into, Please be specific as I want to install my own boost gauge. Is there anything else I need to hook the gauge too does it need a constant 12v? or is that just for illumination?

Second,
I have always admired Big rigs and their vertical exhausts, I want one on my SD, Currently there is a chunk out of my plastic right behind the left rear tire, next to my exhaust, this was caused by my tire exploding and ripping a hole in it, I plan now to move the exhaust pipe right after the resonator to make a right turn, then pass the outside bumper, make a vertical turn, up and to one of these

yes a vertical exhaust tip,
This will be supported by a hanger that Im thinking of connecting to the antenna mast hole, which is on the same side and is currently taped up on my car.
If this possible, would it work?

Speedy has provided us with a great webpage detailing the installation of his boost controller and boost gauge. The link to his page is below and I believe it explains what to do about the "T" fitting.

Would you be liable if some burned him/herself by brushing against your exhaust pipe? I'd be concerned with folks throwing things into the pipe... especially after getting burned by it.
