Odd eBay Find...

Check out this eBay item...

Is it just me, or is the first image of this guy's engine bay the right engine and bay for a 1987 300TD and the second picture with the SVO conversion not only a different engine but a different engine bay?

It looks like the second picture doesn't have the firewall, the sprayer bottle is moved, the intake manifold isn't there etc...

Someone correct me here I must be crazy. =)

The second engine is a 617. In a 123. So yep it's different.

He mentioned in the ad (near the end) that there is a pic of a different engine that shows the conversion in better detail.

Wow, you read the whole ad? I can't read something that lacks paragraphs.

I asked a question about the difference then reread the description. He's showing the 617 to illustrate the conversion. Still sort of confusing, but more sensible in context.
