I have a 1996 300D, non turbo, E class. The analog gaqges in the instrument cluster are out, but the digital gages are ok. Any ideas. I have check the fuese and the connections.

Dont forget that information is sent to the instrument cluster via sensors and actuators.

Do you mean ALL FOUR analog gauges

1. Speedo
2. Tach
3. Fuel
4. Coolant temp

or just some of them? Did they all quit at once?

If all four I'd check fuses. Isn't that one in the drivers side cabin kick panel?
