Is This a Simpler Alternative to VGT/VNT?

Has anyone used them? If so, do they really work? Could they be a simpler alternative to VNT/VGT for those of us who cannot make controllers for VNT/VGT?

You will need the following in order for this valve to work
- Undivided exhaust manifold
- Divided exhaust housing on your turbo

Where do you get a divided exhaust housing for your turbo?

I am planing to buy a new turbo one with T3-divided exhaust intake. If you already have an undivided turbo you may be able to find divided turbo housing on e-bay.

A VGT is just as simple and will give better performance for the same cost or less

That was going to be my comment, you can probably buy a used VNT off a sprinter for less than that.

If some one trys the valve in the link they should take a Center Punce and punch the exposed threads on the screws that retain the Butter Fly Valve so they will not vibrate out.

Also the Valve looks rather frail.
