Armored Possums!!!!!

You'd think a native Texas would have heard that before. My son hit one the other day. Said he had to drive by and look at it for the better part of a week before the buzzards or a town worker spatula'd it up...

I made it home at about 8:00 this evening, turning over Ol' Turbo to 190,000 miles. March 2008, the car only had 170,000 miles on it.

I take it he operated flawlessly, as we would expect. What type of fuel mileage did you throw down?

Lowest MPG on a tank 19.5. That was when I was cruising with traffic to SoCal at around 90 with a weeping return line. Best MPG: 24 from Amarillo to North of OKC. I kept the cruise control set at 75. Considering my speed, I think it was pretty good.

My unremarkable fuel economy is overshadowed by my lack of oil consumption. Nearly 4000 miles and the oil went from the full mark on the dipstick, to 2/3 full.

I hope to shoot a new 0-60 video in the morning before work... Not looking forward to the catch up I'll be doing.

Tyler, I'm glad you made it home safe and without any trouble. I hope your time here in southern CA was well worth the drive, especially meeting many new people. It was a pleasure meeting you, too bad you could not stay longer.

One more thing I found out that we had in common, was when I was looking at the map going to your grandma's place in Costa Mesa. It's located in Fairview Park, and when I was in the Philippines, that's also where we lived, Fairview Park. Freaky!
