Speed Tuning Chip

Hello All,

I am thinking about upgrading to the Speed Tuning chip in my 99 E300. How hard is it to install the chip? Is this something that I can do myself or should I take it to a shop to get it done?

Thanks

As I understand it, you send your ECU to STUSA and they send it back remapped.

It is just as easy as Terry has said, I did it to both my E300TD's, and it takes about 3-4 days start to finish. Takes about 15 minutes to take ECU out, send in to STUSA and they send back, and 15 minutes to re-install. It is worth every penny you will spend, makes these cars really get up and go.

Good Luck!
