Oooo ... even better. Now I need to start my search.

Anyone know where I can get a set of aluminum wheels, lugs, and hubbies? Color on the hubcaps makes no difference since I can repaint them anyway.

Now both my w123s are "bug eyed" like the factory intended.

I think you mean the US DOT. The factory in Germany never wanted to use those goofy lights.

Still on topic, here's my Euro lights with the old pitted lenses:

And here they are with the new lenses, with black "frame" grilles surrounding the reflectors inside:

Notice how clear the lights became, and I also noticed how bad the pitted lenses were.

I can't help myself. When I get something for the car I tell myself I'm just going to look it over and before I know it, it's installed. When I came in the house from taking the boxes out to the garage, my wife said she knew I wasn't going to "just take them out to the garage".

If you can hook me up, that would be cool. Let me know. Are you able to remove the tires to make shipping easier?

That was the problem with the brightness of my Euros then. My lenses were pitted worse than yours were. Mine look like they're frosted.

I'm thinking that when the bulbs burn out on these I might go for round Euros. We'll see.

In POS's French Euros, are the fog reflectors yellow? Is it the lens? Are the bulbs yellow?

If I end up getting round Euros in the future, I'd like to modify them to have yellow fogs if possible.

Something else to consider Chad. I really like the round Euros too, and I would also want the yellow fogs. But if you get hit with a rock then you have to find another round Euro assembly of the correct side. Same with the square Euros.
If you convert your sealed beams to an H4 bulb, then you get the performance of a much better light at an inexpensive price, and if you get whacked with a rock of something then headlight doors are easy to come by, as are fogs and headlights.
I got mine from this seller and was extremely pleased with the product and the seller. [I had a burned out bulb I thought, and he sent me another one overnight. Turned out to be a connector issue though.]

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=230188318274

It's a pretty big difference in lighting from the H4's to the sealed beams. A very defined light cutoff pattern. I already have one of the cracked from a rock. You just can't get away from road debris these days.......

Thanks for the link Jimmy.

One other thing I was thinking about. Is there an easy way to remove the clear plastic on the headlight doors?

I was wondering what they would look like with the fins painted black. I know I'll get used to it, but the grey looks a little out of place right now being that I have a dark colored car and a black grill.
