OK OK OK, I have corrected the signature. Jesh......Now I went to the MB dealer and purchased 10 lug bolts, removed all ong bolts and she now moves with no CLUNKING from the rear wheels, thanks for the lug nut pointer ther Mister Byrnzoil!!!!!
Now I'll have to do the brakes here soon, maybe one wheel a night this week, cuz it's going to be mighty cold here this week. Then the vacuum system. Maybe do these vice versa this week due to the cold. At any rate, I pulled her out of the drive way and then back in. She is slow to respond to the HEAVY pedal, and the brake pedal goes to the floor.
I think she has steel wheels but I'm not sure as I am not well versed in this.
The blower motor doesnt come on either, gonna have to search for the fuse panel. Might anyone be able to tell me where it may reside?

Under the fuse box lid should reside a chart. More than likely however, the culprit is the Climate Control Unit, the push button HVAC thing. A common failure.

And the fuse box lid is where? Under the dash? in the engine compartment?

I DID have the snow off the car a half hour before I took the pictures, but we are under a winter storm warning here in south eastern MEEECHigan and that's what happens.

you are welcome.

Too bad you have to wade thru all the BS on this thread to actually get some decent good info... Sad, isn't it?

I cringe when I see the "t"... NOT because its incorrect, (its not) but because I know the mouth from the south will shortly be wasting our time and HTML with another asinine post.

Its NOT funny anymore Jimmy... Frankly, it never was.

The fuse box is under the hood on the driver's side firewall.

the rouge T business is harmless. And it's tradition.

Some places you'd get massacred for asking where a fuse box is. RTFM and all that.

And yes, there was once carpet in the boot.

Mouth from the south
? Come on Mister, did you just make that up?
Well we can't all be "the best from the west" now can we. You're just too awesome!
Some folks use their extreme wit on their forum name, others have to find their niche. I'm so glad you enjoy mine!
PEH's bit was to correct folks who said algae instead of fungus.
I'm sure there are others. I'm sorry you've missed the spirit of the bit........

Bathcity, it's all in fun and the general ball busting that folks do. Of course there is the "correctness" of the sentiment, but only the truly OCD really care. We all like the "Mercedes" part, which of course is the main thing....

Nope, looking at this picture...

...you appear to have the standard aluminum alloy "bundt" wheels.

Don't worry about Jimmy and the "T" thing. Most of the online parts catalogs will list your car as a 300 CDT - even though the factory didn't call it that, and it says on 300CD Turbo on the trunk.

Just don't use that "CDT" nomenclature around the purists here on the board and everything will be OK

I still find it funny, but since you're clearly on such a higher intellectual plain than us, I know my qualifications for humor are quite a bit lower.

I am so sorry if I ever wasted your time with a nonsensical post. It pains me to know I've robbed you of a few seconds of your otherwise happy day browsing through the forum and gracing us with your benevolence.

Sorry, I jump to conclusions sometimes.
Pic of fuse box under hood, those round knobs unscrew, there is supposed to be a lock washer type thing on the back, so they don't just fall out.

Second is of the card, if you don't have one.
