The sportscar group is having a three day road rally that same weekend and since I like hard & long distance driving , I was thinking of doing that ~ Death Valley , Monument Valley , etc.

I like to show 'em what a pokey old Mercedes Diesel is capable of.....

Okay so good news and bad news!

Good news is that I will still be there for sure, bad news is that I will have to show up late and miss the museum in the morning. I have to pick up someone from LAX at 9:30, and depending on how traffic is I might not get there until 11. Still, I'm headed straight to the meet after the airport, so I will be there for the drive and lunch and whatever else.

I'm bummed I'm going to miss the morning, but I'll be in Valencia from the 30th if anyone wants to get together!

Ive decided I will make it. Ill run my spare tire and rotate the backs to the front. And Ill put a new alternator in also

I think I might be on the hold list as well... the SEL seems to be acting up a bit, and I doubt you guys want a Toyota Supra tagging along with you.

I have a set of 5 decent tires that I will give you first dibs on (or if not anyone else interested) if you want them. They are 235-60-14 (I think).

I will be bringing the Coupe (Lord willing). My brother and I changed out the engine last weekend, and it is running great! I just need to take it off non-op, insure it, and clean a years worth of dirt off of it on Friday.

I would like to take this moment to personally Thank Lenny Sage, Kevin Malone (owners) and Eric Larzelere (parts Mgr.) of Mercedes Benz of Valencia, CA for their more than generous donation of Mercedes Benz items for the GTG and Drive. These will be some of the Door prizes and raffle prizes for the GTG. They donated a lot of items.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

GTG and Drive is Sat April 4th (:00 A.M. at the Nethercutt Auto Museum 15200 Bledsoe st., Sylmar CA.

See you all there and don't for get your raffle item(MB or otherwise) and your donation of Clean WVO or new Veggie Oil (at least Qt. size bottles, Bigger are better!) or a cash donation for Colin Coon.
Colin is in Valencia as I write this and will join us before we leave for the Canyon drive.
Remember the proceeds of the raffle with go to Colin to help defray expenses back home to Sarasota Fla.
