call me a bit of a redneck but...

I think the light kits are sweet. anyone know what lights these might be and how this kind of set up works? Where would I find something like this and does anyone know if there were any specific to the W123? Thanks
|
no idea if there's anything specific to the w123's, but Susquehanna Motorsports has lots of Hella lighting choices.

I'd like to get some vintage rally lights for my TD for our drives to ME. Lots of unlighted highways and biways and lots of critters who like to play Frogger that I'd like to see before they were in front of me. |
I was involved with SCCA back in Ohio and I was always a fan of the rallye look. I think it works best on a car with a bumper like the w123's. I have an unopened set of Hella Rallye 3000's at home that were going on the truck at some point. If they didn't look really out of place I'd put them on the E300!

I want them for My SDL they look sweet. Go to google and do a search they sell the lights and a wire harness. They arent too expensive either.

has anyone on here ever put those lights on an SDL?

i must be a redneck too...i want to put a bumper guard and winch on the front of my 87 300TDT. |

Of course in WV we have a new method for deer hunting. Drive your jacked up pickup with a huge tubular steel "brush guard" 80 mph on the highway with no lights on at all! It helps to have a pair of night vision goggles. I have run across these candidates for the Darwin Award a few times... |
This is when you know you are a neck....

The left photo looks like Cibie Oscars, the second Hella 500. I do not recommend the Hella 500, they are decent auxiliary lights but IMO poor fog lights as there is no mask and no sharp light cutoff. They are however inexpensive and shallow enough to mount as pictured.
