Spinx no longer sells B20

I went by the local Spinx here in Columbia, SC seeking their B20 blend to no avail. Inquired with corporate and received a call advising they no longer carry B20. Anyone know the scope on that? Any other reliable B20 / Bio-Diesel retailers in Columbia, SC? I've purchased from United Energy before but it's hit or miss on the quality of their B20.

I don`t know about back east, but we had a station selling B99 for a while. I ran a tank and a half in my datsun PU. and didn`t knotice any difference in the way it ran. didn`t use any in the MB.

The only reason I used it was they finally brought the price equal or lower than Dino D.

Then one day the sign was changed to B5. the county shut them down from selling B99, because the tanks we not certified to hold the B99.

More Government BS. and control

so in our case at 5% Bio in a 1000 Gal is only 50 gallons. now that will really get us off of using foreign oil in a hurry

So this might be why your station is not selling the B20.

The shell station in Shelbyville, TN sells B20 at a pump that does not have pay at the pump. It is the only pump in the brand new station that does not have pay at the pump, and it is priced above D2.

Talk about setting it up for failure. It gives them the ammo to come back in later and say that they tried to sell it, but the demand just was not there.

No more B20 in Columbia, SC

Prior to heading out of my way to fill up with some B20, I contacted the other location in town that I knew used to sell B20 @ the pumps. This station, on Fish Hatchery Rd in West Columbia, SC, no longer carries B20, it's no longer owned by the parent company, United Energy from Aiken, SC that provided the B20 fuel.

Just an FYI for all in the Midlands of SC.
