Angry Don't you hate it when

You really need to fill up, and you pull up to a station with 6 free gasoline pumps and the gasser infront of you pulls into the last available pump with Diesel... That's the only down side of Diesel in IMHO.

This happened to me the other day and I pulled in follwing a white escort and watched as she pulled in right to the one with Diesel... I decided I would just wait as the other Diesel pumps were all taken but the owners were nowhere to be found. Well, she sat in her car for about 2 minutes doing god knows what, then SLOWLY got out of the car and walked about -5 mph to the building.

After 3 minutes of waiting and no action I said, frock it and drove to the truck pumps on the other side of the station. This was a first for me and right when I pulled up I thought about just waiting on the auto deisel because I didn't know if I was allowed to pump Diesel from these. But w/e life is full of risks aye?

I ran to the building and said "20 on 22" to which I was asked "ok, and what company are you with?" I should have said Mercedes-Benz and gotten some Diesel from them just kidding... I told her none and she said it was ready to go, so I ran back to the truck pump and as I was about to remove the nozzle a truck pulled into the pump next to me and just stared out of confusment lol I pulled off the nozzle and noticed it was very big compared to the normal auto ones and to my surprise it didn't fit very well and I had to hold it while pumping.

started pumping full blast and realized this was a mistake because I guess it pumps out faster and the little tube couldn't handle it and shot a little out. So I had to hold it about halfway. When I finished I got a call on the phone at the pump saying I needed to come inside for my receipt and discount savings. I thought that was pretty cool and ended up getting like 0.50 cents back and an experiance of a lifetime haha

That truck driver was probably thinking "don't you hate it when cars come over to the truck line and get diesel"

Yeah, its like a fire hose!

I've only had one conversation with a woman who took the only Diesel pump. She asked why I was waiting and not using any of the others. I politely answered, and she apologized.

I got a new beetle tdi when they first came out in 1998. I'd pull up at the trucker's diesel pumps and get all kinds of funny looks. Several times people came up while I was pumping afraid that I was putting the wrong fuel in my tank. I do like the volume on the truck pumps!

Well, I've pumped my fill at a few truck pumps with the Volvo. Once the weather breaks, I won't be waiting at ANY pumps as I'll run my own biodiesel when it's warm enough.

Eventually I'll get the 300CD set up similar to the Volvo so that I run from a cubie with QD fuel lines and a pollak valve. This allows me to pull the cubie of biodiesel over night or at work and keep it warm.

Awww lol Ours has been very good. When we got it in 2004 it had 35,000 miles and the A/C unit went out. It was under warranty so it was all good. My mom doesn't know much about cars so nothing was done but 2-3 oil changes and it had the original air filter from 2004 until last year. Never gave us any trouble. Until recently when the water pump bearings went out and we got stranded on the freeway. Also the front axles need to be replaced but other than that she's running as strong as one of our MB Diesels.

OK, Jimmy has the rogue "T" and Jeff has claimed the apostrophe. You want to be in charge of the Sig line? You better clear it with BC.
