Until one of the hoses gets a leak and needs to be replaced. Man, these Euro parts are hard to find. No hydraulic shops here do banjo bolts, so I can't just get a new one made. I wish the new owner better luck than I've had getting it.

I just thought of something.. I didn't post pics of the one I went to get that started this thread.. I'll have to do that soon.

I've got an idea for repairing that hose, should cost nothing if it works. Also the hose,albeit leaking, is doing its job. something must be clogged along the way to the back of the car restricting flow to the rear.

John, I didn't check the reclining rear seat, does it work? The rear pulled itself up, so wonder if there is a switchover valve that is stuck?

No, the rear seat doesnt work, I've fixed one before, just need to try and remember what I did. Once all this snow and ice goes away I'll play with it a bit more.

That's a very nice looking SD. The California blue plate is a 1984 issue, ( 1Kxx xxxwhich means it's been continuously in the state since then; that shoud mean NO RUST, which is a real problem with many of the W116 bodies. )

$4,100 is a nice deal for what you would get, if you bought that one.
