Yup. So you're suggesting the euro models move the 3 pin connection off of the tail lamp, freeing up another pin for a rear fog light?

1993 W124 300D

My right side bulb carrier is missing a contact for the rear fog lamp, and the tail light which has a contact is not working even though both bulbs are good.

The left side works fine, all 6 lamps work when they should.

So, how do I get another contact for the missing one? The photos above are a great illustration on how to disassemble the carrier for repairs. Thanks for those.

I'm hoping that fixing these tail light will get my cruise working again too.
