If they put that in wagon form and sold it in the states, I would probably buy one immediately.
*edit* until I look at the price tag... See valid points below.

Part of the reason is it doesnt meet safety requirements for the united states.
but yeah sounds good but to be honest not too many people in america wont drop 35k on a 4 banger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_luDiTytR4I&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77ZeE8oYl9c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAIKixtJt10&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K79o8yZ8Wcs&feature=related

Trust fund babies lease C300 Sports Sedans. They have no interest in a C220. They probably don't know how to drive standard either.

Yeah, on second thought 35k would be a bit steep.

I definitely wouldn't. The newest MB I would buy is an 05-06 E320 CDI since its the last Diesel MB designed worth a cr@p. The V6 is poorly designed throwaway junk and their I-4's are far overcomplicated, inefficient and behind the curve in technology.

People won't buy this, but they sell the R class...
Sad times, if you ask me.

Thats because its still big enough to be like an SUV. Even though its a minivan/station wagon in disguise.

What confuses me is the wagon options MB offers to the US now. Only the E350 4-matic and E63. Come on, 4-matic? Don't they sell enough SUV's with that?

M/B is not interested in whether you would buy a used one. Who's going to buy a NEW one? Anyone who wants a new M/B wants a C-300 or better. |

Considering the C300 is the lowest and cheapest model they offer, their only other choice is something better. The next cheapest model is an ML350 for an extra $1000.
