There's a website that has the manual for the early evil servo unit. I posted the link a few weeks ago. It would be nice to see this manual up on a website too.

Congratulations, not a lot of them come up for sale. I have that manual,
maybe if I read it I could get my heat to work properly. actually I forget I have it.

Oh man, I need to see this thing! My sevo is new-rebuilt, but I only get heat, and I get it all the time, no AC. Apparently it's the aux temp switch that's dead, but if it's not then I have no idea! This would be cool to see!

I'd like to see the diagram for the vaccuum system on the '79. I would love to bypass it so my face vents blow and then be able to re-rout it for the foot vents in the winter.

Congrats on the books, keep them clean, they are hard to find. I treat my books like a fine woman, with respect.

I have some info at home regarding ACC, it was omitted from the factory CD's. I'm not sure if the server will accept it, it's a huge PDF file. Will try later.

We could pool our information as a group regarding this subject, maybe the result would be a "sticky".

This is a factory service manual! I'm not aware of any factory service manual that covers all systems for the entire car. Did they (MB) do this? I've never seen one of these and I would think this would be a huge book! Considering the size of the service manual for the turbo diesel engine alone!

Good old section 83. You become quite familiar with it when you have an evil servo unit. And it is quite long.

However. having it on paper is of course, priceless.

Come to think of it, I might have that manual too. Guess I need to open that bookshelf door from time to time......

Anytime I find a manual for a W123, I just have to pick it up! Then I'll have to pick up one of the cars it belongs to and restore it!
