GREAT DAY - GREAT PEOPLE!

Hi Diesel People- You too Jaime!
I had great time. It was fun meeting everybody. We have got to do it again. Lets not wait till spring. We're not going swimming are we? Well, I'm glad I didn't stick around for the races. I think we've pretty well established the fact that my car (Burgundy 300D) is a dog. I guess I'm going to have to get it looked at. If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate any input. (John, thanks for cleaning out that connection.) I enjoyed seeing everyone's cars and I got a few good ideas. It was just a fun day.
Best-
Ed

Thumbs up Great Day

I really had a great time at the Diesel meet. I left early because I heard there was going to be a drag race and I know that my 300D would get smoked.

My thanks to TurboDiesel for setting it up. I look forward to the spring session.

turbodiesel,

Yes, "ole silver" is the Euro 240D. Even though I have some other great Benzes to drive, I still miss not having it on the road. I hope I can get past some other projects and give it some TLC this winter.

Have a great day,

I was late......

You know what they say....better late than never.

I had a great time too! It was nice to meet all the other diesel fanatics as well. I got back to Ohio safely and thanks to Ralph at Ramsey Motors, I now feel like I have a new Benz again.

Here are a few photos:

Too bad there was no concession stand for the diesel drags. If there were, you could watch the cars "launch" then go get a hot dog and a coke, then come back and catch the end of that run.

Have a great day,

I am glad there was such a large turn out. How many cars were there? I was planning on attending, as I was one of the one's that suggested to meet at that lake. As some of you may know I am in the Air Force and am currently on the other side of the world from NJ. I can't say exactly where, but I obviously have access to a computer. I was looking forward to being there, but duty calls. I hope another get together will happen, and that I would be home to attend.

Hi Rick,

We'll do it again when you get back, its the least we could do for someone serving our great country. Its cool that you can still be in touch with us from over there.

There were about fifteen cars, not all at once though.

Next time we'll have to think about maybe bringing some lawn chairs, a grill, food & drinks. You know, do this thing up right...Tools, ramps & Name tags.

I think I'm gonna have to bring one of the TD's to haul all the stuff...

~George~
